My best friend and her husband generously host the Annual Pajama Thanksgiving. You can stop by any time on Thanksgiving for some food with the caveat that you must be wearing pajamas. For those of us staying in the house, the pajama wearing starts the night before and lasts through to the morning after. Showers are optional. Beveraging is a must. You can even put in a request for your favorite Thanksgiving dish. Mine is green bean casserole with the crunchie onions on top...oh...my...God! Rockin' the dishes like Docken!
The dog, unfortunately, started Thanksgiving early by eating a purse full of pumpkin bread, M&Ms, cough drops, hot tamale candies and a peanut butter cup...wrappers and all. The wrappers started making an appearance this morning.
We humans started with the Eggs and Grits breakfast of champions with Mimosas and cinnamon buns!
The afternoon was spent mixing drinks, stories, taking naps and smelling amazing smells coming from the kitchen.
While this was the "Pajama Thanksgiving" I managed to not get a single picture of this slippered group in our Thanksgiving pajamas.
However, I did get the food...
and, of course, the aftermath...
Some were hit harder by the tryptophan than others...
Gobble Gobble!
